(Q) What do I need to know to get this done? A. Resources & patients(Q) Are there tricks to installing the fittings on hard lines vs the hoses themselves? A. Anything is possible however I don't recommend. Use -AN to hard line only if you have braided in between using a combination of barb fittings. It's doable, but painstaking. (Q) Where's a good place to buy the tools, fittings and hose? A. I used Summit as @ouikikazz suggested for all fittings/tools/hose and a local parts store for clamps to fasten stainless long-haul to-from tank. Luckily they were there for me in a pinch. (Q) Are there preferred brands of fittings or are they all the same? A. If I could afford all Russell, I'd go with them. However Earls & Aeroquip make slick -AN pieces too but they're rather pricey in my opinion. You'll notice for a job like there are challenges using one brand name for all -AN connectors. Especially the bulkhead fittings on the pump assembly. (Q) Does AMS make AN fittings? (just kidding) A. ? (Q) Any thoughts on the stainless vs nylon casing on the lines? A. Y. I used stainless for the long-haul to/from tank and eye-candy Russell ProClassic under the hood. Bottom line: This upgrade gave me no increase in HP. I wasted lots of money and rendered numerous *expletives while removing the hard lines. So if you're a glutton for a pointless upgrade, then by all means have at it. Below are some shots of my before and afta's: Here's your partial inventory...I used -8AN for supply and -6AN for return:
[BEFORE] The crux of the fuel system...hard lines defeated!!!

[BEFORE] Dual Walbro pump & assembly

 [AFTER] Bulkhead modification

 [AFTER] Pump Assembly bulk head(s)

 [AFTER] -8AN & -6AN + Y
 [AFTER] -8AN & -6AN supply + return SS braided
[AFTER] Nylon braided to the rail
 [AFTER] -6AN 3-way FPR & -8AN Filter
